The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance in the United States when people are encouraged to pray for the nation. It’s typically held on the first Thursday in May. It’s a time for people of different faiths to come together and offer prayers for the country’s well-being and unity.

Food distribution for families in District 3
Like every first Friday of each month, together with Farm Share, we carried out another food distribution for the community, at José Martí Park. Our #TeamCarollo and volunteers once again worked tirelessly and distributed around 500 bags.
Many thanks to all those who contribute to making this effort become a reality. Serving our community is a priority.

A Mothers’ Celebration Week in District 3
This is how the week leading up to Mother’s Day unfolded in District 3. To honor and celebrate mothers and fathers, we organized various events in a total of 15 buildings for the elderly and low-income families in the District. It’s important to accompany and bring harmony and happiness to people who enjoy moments like these so much.

Miami Honors Filmmaker Renny Harlin and Welcomes "The Strangers: Chapter 1"
It was a pleasure to honor Finnish director, producer, screenwriter, and South Florida resident Renny Harlin with a City of Miami Proclamation for his accomplishments in the filmmaking industry, his outstanding career, and his many contributions to the entertainment world.
In addition, in District 3 we welcomed the upcoming theatrical release of “THE STRANGERS - Chapter 1”, directed by Renny Harlin.

Friday Little Havana Mother's Day
On our Little Havana Friday we continue to celebrate mothers' month, highlighting the hard work that they lead every day in families. Everyone present enjoyed different artists who, with their music, crafts and gastronomy, made this space on 8th Street the meeting point for different residents and tourists of the city of Miami. A totally free space where Art and Culture is available to everyone.
